Copenhagen Spirit Portraits
Meet Sarah Stephansen
Copenhagen is more than a place. It is a feeling shaped by creative minds, quiet rituals, craftsmanship, and human connection. We feature local creatives who inspire us through the way they see, live, and move through the city.

“
Living and working in Copenhagen has had a huge impact on my creative work. Inspiration, atmosphere, and creativity are always just around the corner.
What Inspires You About Copenhagen?
“I’m inspired by Copenhagen’s beautiful architecture and lively atmosphere. I love seeing people gathered at sidewalk cafés, especially in the afternoons when the city feels warm, social, and full of energy.”
Favourite Season:
“Summer is my favourite season in Copenhagen. After the long Scandinavian winters, the whole city comes alive and people spend their days outdoors enjoying the canals, cafés, and long evenings together.”
Copenhagen in Three Words:
“Lively. Aeshetic. Hyggelig.”
“
My biggest passion is creativity in all its forms.
“
I love sitting in the sun with a coffee at Les Voyageurs in the city centre, and later meeting friends in the Meatpacking District. The atmosphere there feels relaxed, creative, and full of life.
